I see an art project coming up!

Its Saturday, or Sabado as they say here in espanol. I am thinking about how to spend my day, I have already had my coffee, of course, got to have it first thing in the morning. I like a nice smooth strong cup of expresso with a little soy milk added. I am using a french filter pot now as I burned up my (oh no) expresso maker that went on the stove. 

Two days ago I went to my new holistic doctor here in town, (more about that later, wow, what an eye-opener that was!) and then I stopped at a very cool woodworking factory owned by a woman here in town. Pictures above.

They make all kinds of wood furniture and anything you can draw up for them. I found they had a big pile of scrap wood, and started looking for 'keepers'. Just what I wanted to bring home so I can make something artsy!!! But, I needed a taxi of my own to haul the 2 heavy pieces I picked out. So I will go today with a pre-arranged ride (courtesy of Betsy the taxi maven) to pick up my goods. There are some half circles, about 2 ft. wide (kind of an eyebrow thing) that I want to get before someone else picks them up.  (bottom left middle of photo). I will show you what I make as I proceed with the project.
