shopping for kitchen stuff

A new 2 story department store "Conways" opened up a few months ago in David, Panama. A mere 30 -45 minutes away from where I live. Everyone was very excited about this new place to shop. Much more modern than the other stores in town, and it has a fabulous kitchen department ! Felt a bit like I was in Macys and it was a good feeling. Prices are much better too!
They also have a nice cafe (coffee) shop area with tables and huge windows to enjoy a great cappachino.

Discovered a Great New Shop----Casa Colonial

Great place to shop and actually be able to buy some things. And did I buy anything?? Ooh, Yes!!!
Check out the legs on this table! Incredible carving, beautiful table to seat about 10 or 12 people. Magnificent!
Lots of different types of wood cabinets, armoires, buffets, and tables. All kinds of rustic styles. Lots of colorful vibrant pottery from Mexico that is very nicely made. Wish I had more room!!
Lots of pots, all kinds, all sizes. And huge ones too!
The owners are a very nice couple from New York who are very welcoming and full of information about the pieces in their store. They are relatively new to Boquete and very excited to be in this wonderful community. The store is now on Volcancito Road just below Paradise Gardens. It is a must shop at destination as far as I am concerned. I look forward to going back often.
