I have to interrupt my posting about Costa Rica to show you what I did today. I went up to Poterillos, Panama (about 1 hour from where I live) to a place that is just filled with hummingbirds. The couple live way out of town surrounded by beautiful pastures, lots of cows, and some jungle. They have many feeders hanging all around their deck and the hummers are there constantly. They refill the feeders 5 times a day!!! There were probably at least 40 birds zipping around at all times.
I discovered it is difficult to get a good pic of a hummingbird, at least for me. So I took some videos and this one shows quite a few different types each chasing off the one before it to get to this feeder where I had my camera perched.

How cool! I love hummingbirds! I have one tatooed on my cheek as a matter of fact, and I'm not talking about my face. It's fun to follow your adventures here!
I'm jealous, I love hummingbirds, I have a hummingbird tattoo on my a**! Keep up the cool adventures.
